Dr. Basinger and his wife graduated from Magnet High School and so did their three sons. Two of them played on the soccer team and for seven years he and Heather were involved with the booster club and everything from being team photographer to hosting team dinners to being in charge of the heater (important for those cold January nights!) to making hundreds of sandwiches for tournament weekends. Dr. Basinger still supports the team as a corporate sponsor.
